It makes me question whether sinking 100k+ pixels into a single trade station to raise it to level 11 and beyond was just a massive waste of money. It feels frustrating instead of rewarding. Every time I want to vendor items or look at Trade Goods, I fly back to my invested station instead of trying to find other stations. But as this mechanic is currently implemented, it locks me into trading with only a single station instead of exploring. Finding one that can speak common and is able to recount ancient history is of the highest level of improbability. Starbound is fundamentally a game about exploring the universe. Its a neat mechanic, but so far it feels frustrating when I find another station with good deals, because I invested in a different one. How much more investing do I need to do before I actually see a benefit on other stations? And is that a full benefit at some point, or is it only a portion? I'm currently at level 11 but it has not yet applied to other stations. I've been investing in a single trade station, hoping to raise it high enough so that it applies to all other stations. ![]()
